The Athens Printmaking Art Center workshop provides:
-
Notes on the techniques taught.
-
Tools, inks, and consumable materials except for printing paper and matrices (metals, linoleum, wood, plexiglass) and facilitates finding materials and tools. The dimensions of the printmaking works created during the lessons, especially in the case of the first lesson cycles, should not exceed A3 dimensions. For creating works of larger dimensions, arrangements are made with each interested party for individual publishing/production.
The concern of the workshop leaders is to teach the technical processes of Printmaking during the creation of each work, so that every time the artists – students start a specific project, they manage to complete it.
The instructors prioritize teaching technical processes hands-on as each project unfolds, ensuring students take their artworks from concept to completion. This approach includes guided exercise in composition and formative artistic values supervised directly by the teachers.
Upon completion of the seminar cycle, the ATHENS PRINTMAKING CENTER – PANDOLFINI & SIATERLI awards graduates a Certificate of Attendance.
Classes have a small number of participants.
